MyControl is engineered for smooth, direct transfers from a seated position to the built-in bath seat. With a standard height of 4.25” from the external base to the bath door lip, it ensures easy entry. However, installation modifications can be made to accommodate individual needs, achieving a zero-step or barrier-free entrance.

Customizable for Zero-Step Entry

MyControl has been successfully installed with the door lip flush to floor level, making it an ideal solution for accessibility. Key factors that influence the final height include:

  • Subfloor materials (plywood, hardie board, adhesive)
  • Flooring type (tile, vinyl, etc.)
  • Installation method (sinking into the subfloor or elevating the surrounding flooring)

By carefully adjusting these elements, the bath system can be positioned to minimize or eliminate the step height into the bath while ensuring a watertight seal.

Universal Accessibility & Smart Design

Unlike traditional walk-in tubs, MyControl’s patented door swings inward for a secure, leak-proof seal. The door spans approximately 80% of the bath length, providing ample space for transfers. The built-in standalone frame allows for flexible installation—whether freestanding, recessed into the subfloor, or adjusted to match personal requirements.
